Kangaroos at last

We started our journey from Geraldton early this morning, as we wanted to visit an historical site off Highway 1 called Greenough. It was run by the National Trust and apart from some renovation of the buildings it is as it was in 1895. There were 11 buildings to view including a school several churches and a gaol. We spent about an hour viewing it all.

We then started on the trip south to Yanchep . where we are staying this evening. We stopped at a place called Greenhead near to Jurien bay but as I got bitten by a large horsefly or something decided to drive on to Jurien Bay for lunch.  That’s the first bite I have had and managed to take an antihistamine quickly so not too bad.

Bob drove the rest of the way as the antihistamine made me feel sleepy and we arrived at Yanchep about 3.30 pm . The room is very nice with a spa in the bath , kitchen and large bedroom. there is a balcony and when I stepped out to have a look I discovered there were hundreds of kangaroos on the grass outside! Yanchep is a national park so not surprising. We have now taken lots of kangaroo pictures,
